Hi,
since I fired up QERadiant again since like 5 years, I have a few Q's. (maybe sticky thread?)
in ZEQ2 what do I need to do with:
- default lighting in a map?
(since there is cell shading)
- default sizes?
(length, width and heigth best for ZEQ2, for example what are the Namek/landing dimensions?)
- what special features can I use in Radiant?
- player start points (DM, Team DM?)

cellshading is messing in the Raditz map, but Zeth posted somewhere that it could be added, somehow. Look for it, or ask Zeth to repeat himself.

Read down a few posts in HERE for the response TRL is referring to.
Cel-shading is a widely misused term (and often misspelled as cell-shading).
Originally, it was just to imply any form of stylism where the goal was to replicate an animation celluoid. However, since there are a VERY wide-range of end results possible on a cel (some of which actually use realistic or complex composite lighting), using it as a generality to describe a cel-style can mean literally any form of style that was drawn with intention to be animated. This end-goal usually means lesser colors/shades/details overall, although not necessarily always in higher production value presentations.
Additionally, users also often muddle up the differences between shading (how light sources are supposed to impact a scene -- naturally or unnaturally) and inking (hard outlines/inlines drawn throughout to accent silhouette or particular details).
To accurately describe what ZEQ2-lite offers, you have to examine the two above components. We use standard stepped-shading for lighting and a wireframe outline approach for inking.

okay, so now I made a map @ 14336 x 14336 x 12800, I think it can be made bigger judging on the size of the explosion of the Spirit Bomb/Genki Dama
but now, when I load textures in Radiant, they don't come up in ZEQ, what do I have to change?
thanks (okay)

Make sure the texture paths are set properly and that the same shaders/textures exist in your ZEQ2Contents folder.

nope, not yet..
I was figuring out the right sizes first
I think it can be even bigger, I blasted myself with the Genki Dama! *laughing out loud*:P!
by the way did you guys MODEL Namek in an other program and then import it to a map?

Go ahead and make it as big as possible. You can clear the Raditz map pretty fast when you rapid fly and boost at the same time, though it's still the biggest map I ever fought on in any game.

yeah what I want is at least equally sized to the Raditz map..
so I'm testing that out first, then comes the idea of making what I want..

Yes. Nearly all of our maps are modeled in entirety and then simply imported.

imported with what program if I may ask ?
that would be a bit easier I think with for example Milkshape.
Blah !!
I can't stand it, I get errors like Entity 0, Brush 0: Degenerate Plane..
all I did was make a square and hollow it.. :S
ah man, now that is working I have the next problem..
whatever I do, I just can't seem to get the loving shaders to work
